Our Services

Trauma-Focused Therapy

Trauma‑focused therapy is a gentle, supportive approach that helps people work through painful or overwhelming experiences in a safe space. The therapist will work together with you to explore how past events may be affecting your thoughts, feelings, and relationships today. This type of therapy is designed to: *Provide safety and understanding so you feel supported while talking about difficult experiences. *Build coping skills to manage stress, anxiety, or strong emotions. *Encourage healing and resilience by helping you make sense of what happened and move forward with greater confidence. Whether you’ve experienced a single event or ongoing challenges, trauma‑focused therapy offers practical tools and compassionate support to help you reclaim a sense of calm, strength, and hope.

Eating Disorder Recovery Therapy

Our Eating Disorder Recovery Therapy uses Enhanced Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT‑E), a leading, evidence‑based approach created especially for eating disorders. CBT‑E is designed to help you: *Understand why eating feels hard. *Learn simple skills to feel calmer and more in control. *Break free from cycles of restricting, bingeing, or purging. *Build a kinder, healthier relationship with food and your body.

What to expect: *The therapy is personalised; it’s shaped around your needs. *Sessions usually happen once a week, for about 20 weeks or more. *The focus is on long‑term recovery and finding hope beyond the eating disorder.

Grief and Loss Therapy

Grief is a natural response to losing someone or something important in our lives. It can feel heavy, confusing, and different for everyone. There’s no “right” way to grieve, and no set timeline. In counselling, you’ll find a gentle, supportive space to talk about your loss, explore the feelings that come with it, and begin to adjust to life in a way that feels manageable for you. Together, we can:

*Acknowledge your experience without judgment. *Understand your emotions—whether sadness, anger, guilt, or even relief. *Discover coping strategies that help you through the hard days. *Find meaning and connection as you move forward at your own pace. Grief counselling isn’t about “getting over it.” It’s about learning to carry your loss with compassion, while finding ways to live fully and gently alongside it.

Play-Based Therapy

Play‑based therapy uses play as a natural way for children to express themselves, explore feelings, and work through challenges. Through games, toys, art, and storytelling, children can communicate what might be hard to put into words. In sessions, play becomes a safe space where children can: *Express emotions in ways that feel comfortable. *Build coping skills and problem‑solving abilities. *Strengthen confidence and self‑understanding. *Practice relationships and communication in a supportive environment. Play-based therapy helps children process experiences and develop resilience, while feeling seen, heard, and supported.
